FREE LIVE ALBUM + WEST COASTIN'
Sup People,
We are in the process of booking a tour up and down the west coast with our friends SECONDARY + FRIENDSHIP & THE FAWN from up north for March 2010, so keep an eye out if you don't wanna miss it. I'm really excited about these shows because they're all going to be really ecclectic, and I've come to miss that in a lot of shows over the years. I'm also excited because we'll get to kick it with some down ass folks. It'll be like camping when we're not playing / driving..

Alright, so this is a rough as hell live recording of our set from our last show at a house in Berkeley. We had a pretty good time, and I feel that the recording, although poor in quality, managed to capture some of the intensity in the room, if nothing else. Something about that little hole on the tops of mac books.. Either way, it should offer some small glimpse of some of the more recent material on the way.. Enjoy..

Hey People!
First things first, DEEPLY sorry for our lengthy absence. Truth be told, we are only just getting back on the jam wagon as of this week. It has been a number of months since any real planets activity, and for those who care, we apologize. Basically, I (Thomas) have been living + working in Oakland since May, whereas he (Paul) continues to live + work in Napa, and we have both been pretty busy with our individual lives / work / projects etc. Poverty had a little to do with it on my end, but we've both been pretty guilty of being genuinely lazy and unmotivated at times, but we're proud to announce the end of the hiatus. The end of all hiatuses. No more time wastin'. I'ts easy to let capitalism control your life, crush your spirit, and keep you from living out your dreams, but you must do everything in your power (which is more than you may realize) to live the life you want to live! Capitalism distracts and imprisons!

ENDINGS
Greetings dreamers. On behalf of Mr. Slack and myself, we would like to extend our humble grattitude to everyone who came out and showed us some love these past weeks. Truth be told, we expected some amount of good spirits and posi vibes, but nothing near what you all created within the cozy confines of those rooms in which we provided jams..
It has been an intense couple of weeks. I'll pick up where I left off.. The Edmonds show was a little banger. Played for a decent sized younger crowd at "Frank's house" aka "Frank's mom's house". We love doing these things and meeting rad wish-you-were-my-moms that facilicate loud bone crunching house shows on a month to month basis. Needless to say, we brought the ruckus, kids ate it up, and shelled out their allowance money for some planets merch. Cut Loose exploded everyones penises and vaginas with their sub-tropical twang attack, and Degania fucking devastated the block and passed around a rusty bucket for kids to spit their teeth into. That being said, it was a very warm reception. Everyone was very cool.

Next on the menu was Old School Pizzaria in Olympia. We played with my buddy Jonny's band Christian Mistress, who were, in any case, fucking solid. Check em. I'll just leave it at that. We played for a fat chunk of kids who were "feelin it", respectively. The space sounded and smelled most excellent. Olympia is an awesome town with a lot of attractive people and a lot going on. We were glad to have played for as many people as we did. Big ups to Jonny wolf!
Next was our second (or real) Portland show, at Da Punx Palace. Upon arrival, we knew right off the bat it was going to be lightyears better than our show on the way up, which was really quite a turd and hardly worth mentioning. Hipsters hate us, which i'm guessing is probably a good thing? Anyway, we played with some amazing acts of a colorful variety. It was like a delicious genre salad. I won't get into details, but it was all good and if you weren't there, you missed it. Big thank you to kelly and co. for hooking that up, and also for the much needed shower and shave. I don't think i've ever talked with as many people in such a short amount of time, than when I was washing my naked body in your bathroom.
AND THEN.. Oakland last night. Our home-coming show. Shit was real. Got to see plenty of homies, old and new. Times Of Desperation were heavier than your grandpa's nutsack with a chain hangin' off it, and O lucky man! scrambled synapses and drank kool aid. Thanks to everyone who came out, hung out, and made us feel at home.
Last night's set was dedicated to the memory of a recently fallen friend, Marques Battle. You were an amazing and beautiful person. Our thoughts are with you and your family. You will be forever missed.

HOUSE PARTY II
YO.. so these last couple Seattle shows have reminded us why we love it up here so much. The kids hold it down. Even in the harsh coldness, people roll out to go nuts in basements and warehouses. Other places can learn a lot from Seattle (Portland).
Saturday, we ripped it with our brethren in CUT***LOOSE, who of course, laid it down something fierce. Talkin' bout 8 minutes of blistering ear hate and PMA. I grew up (and am still) with these kids. Serious homeboys.

Yesterday, we did the greenhouse for our second time. This was a sick show and all cylinders were pumping in top form. We are most comfortable in musty confines. Our buddies in Midwife tore it up like only they could. Dark, harsh and ugly.

listen to them, they come correct. Braidstorm and Alaskas were both really great as well.. The show was intense, energetic, lucrative, and I even got a friendship bracelet!

We have another doozie tomorrow at Frank's house in Edmonds with Degania, CUT***LOOSE, Giest, and Old Gray Beard. This show is likely to go off like a home made bomb, son. Info on that can be found on the myspace page. We will have shirts, records, and reckless body odor for your consideration.

Whatever that lizard is that walks on water
Well, we didn't end up annihilating Reno afterall. As a matter of fact, we didn't even make it there. The roads were all closed off because of some huge accident, and, as it turns out, the only thing innihilated was our precious time. We spent at least 3 solid hours sitting in the van with the engine turned off. In traffic. In a blizzard. Chillin. For us, this meant some yellow snow, snow chains, soul train, and total delerium, among other things. I don't really wanna get into it, because I do not wish to relive any of it. Let's just say terriballs. Sorry Reno, we owe you a make-up show. Hey, it's not our fault you live out there..
Anyway, we're lampin out at the artistry in portland right now with WIMBC and some other folks, suckin our own dicks... Oh, yesterday, on our way up here, Paul picked up a transient named "Teardrop", on her way to SLC. She smelled like bammer and feet. We took her about 20 miles until it was time to say good riddance. Your guts are like mine
YO er’buddys. So the first batch of cali shows have pretty much been off the chain. East Bay kids held it down like we knew they would, the bands were tight, merch was sold, and I didn’t leave any drums behind. The Sacramento show was a bit smaller or as I see it, more intimate, but kids went nuts all the same, merch was sold, I didn’t leave anything behind, plus I met a magical homeless Indian named “Make my day”, which was pretty cool. Oh, if anyone has been wondering about the 7 inch record “due out by mid feb”, that’s obviously and totally not happening. Records cost a lot of lame ass money to press and we don’t have any. Our plan is to raise money to put out our next record (probably more like a 10” or 12” at this point) by playing lots of California shows. We are really anxious to release our new stuff. Maybe someone will come along and help us some day... Wouldn’t that be nice?
Tonight we annihilate the city called Reno...
